Vivre Debout - Humanity and Inclusion Foundation

The Vivre Debout - Humanity and Inclusion Foundation was created in 2014, under the aegis of the Foundation for the Université de Lyon now called the Innovation and Transitions Foundation, to develop synergies and partnerships with the research community.

Its objective is to encourage innovative solutions in order to contribute to an ever more effective and rapid management of people with disabilities or of people who are vulnerable, victims of conflicts, natural or health disasters and plunged into abject poverty.

Its strategy is based on three main areas: monitoring, innovation and training.

In terms of monitoring, innovation and training, the Vivre Debout - Humanity and Inclusion Foundation supports the projects implemented by the Humanity and Inclusion Federation, through the following means of action:
  • Geopolitical monitoring and analysis
Humanitarian crises are increasingly complex and difficult to understand: Humanity and Inclusion supports geopolitical monitoring activities in areas of the world affected by long-term and large-scale crises.
  • Innovation and advanced solutions
Technical progress offers the opportunity to develop new solutions for humanitarian action: the Foundation invests in innovation.
  • Training and transfer of skills
The transfer of know-how and techniques to local stakeholders is crucial: the Foundation supports training projects for professionals on the ground, for sustainable action with affected populations.
